Both of us attended Auburn University and loved the area. Twenty-two years later, we decided to set roots and build a farm north of Auburn and Opelika. We purchased 30 plus acres of planted pines and began carving out a farm and homesite in 2014. As we set up pastures, fences, barns, and a home, we also explored many different farming techniques. Two years ago, we settled on confined environment agriculture because it allowed us to grow year-round, was sustainable and conserved resources.
Most importantly, we now have fresh food year-round. In the spring of 2020, we built a ~500sq/ft micro-green facility, followed with a mushroom facility. All three of these facilities, we can control temperature, humidity, and light. The farm name comes from our desire to provide fresh, nourishing food to our community for years to come.
